Mykonos has its own airport with international flights arriving to it during summer months, but there are also many options to fly to Athens and hop on a connecting flight to Mykonos. You can also opt to take a ferry from Athens or other islands, so there are plenty of ways to get to Mykonos!

Once you have arrived and have admired the beautiful views, it's time to fuel up on some food! Try some local kopanisti, a cheese that is often served with bread as an appetizer, before digging into some sun-dried Mykonos sausage or some tasty Greek gyros or souvlaki! Wash it all down with some beer or a nice cold glass of ouzo, a famous Greek liqueur that tastes like aniseed.

Some useful things to know before you arrive in Mykonos: the official language of Greece is Greek and the currency is the Euro. Some useful words you might need include:
- "Χαίρετε (chairete) " = hello
- "αντιο σας (antio sas)" = goodbye
- "σας παρακαλούμε (sas parakaloume)" = please
- "ευχαριστώ (efcharisto)" = thank you
